L'Étang

"L'étang" is a symphonic poem whose main idea lies in musical description. Throughout each movement, the listener encounters a new inhabitant of this small pond.

Inspired as much by Baroque density as by classical forms, romantic contrasts, modern modal sounds, and contemporary eclecticism, "L'étang" aims to fit into a fragmented musical tradition where the best of each era shines through the virtuosity of the passages presented throughout its composition.

"L'étang" is a captivating and enchanting symphonic poem! Surrender to its listening and let it move you!
